next to the toffee tree

i once said that starting a new phase in your life is like opening a book to a new page, clean and white — but i think its more like a plot of earth in the spring. its broken up (still wet with dew), turned to the fresh air and prepared for the seeds of a new season.

i don’t think our lives are as determinably scientific as a new page, clean and white. and even though the thought of grasping our own universe might sound nice, the tension and dynamics of our organic lives allways seem to turn to beauty in the end. leaving us standing in awe of our wonderful God.
